There, I've been out shopping now. I bought the following:
1 Battle for Skull Pass box
1 Warboss box
1 Fanatics box
1 set of brushes (standard, small detail and small drybrush)
1 clipper
What I realized yesterday is that I now have a grand total of 80 (!) Night Goblins with spears to paint up. The thought doesn't really scare me that much, they are quick and easy to paint. It's rather fun as well, I've never enjoyed painting an army as much as I enjoy this one. And I've actually only got 60 more Night Goblins to paint (at least with spears), since 20 is already painted. Today I'm going to paint a spearman from start to finish all in one go, no batch painting. Just to see how long it'll take me so I have an ETA on my models. Yesterday I found an old bit box full of fun stuff, including a few sprues from my old Battle for Skull Pass. On them I found Night Goblin archers, spider riders and a few leaders/shamans. It was a nice boost for my army!
Just to bring us up to pace, this is what I've got so far...
80 Night Goblin spearmen (20 painted, 20 half-painted, 40 unassembled)
10-15 Goblin wolf riders (mostly unassembled, some are from the bit box)
3 Night Goblin fanatics (assembled, not painted)
2 Orc Warbosses/big bosses (unassembled)
20 Goblin spider riders (unassembled)
2 Goblin shamans (unassembled)
2 Trolls (unassembled)
20 Night Goblin archers (unassembled)
I've also got the force of dwarves from Skull Pass. Might start them some day, who knows? Stunties have always been one of the armies that I really like, but probably wouldn't play. I think thye are generally too slow and cumbersome - I don't like the idea of being outmaneouvered by my opponent.
I love the Orcs and Goblins list for the simple reason that they are so varied, and customizable. I mean, I can have an army made up of only Orc melee fighters, with big, lumbering trolls and giants - or I can have an army composed entirely of Gobbos, with a lot of flanking wolf riders, some chariots, war machines and a pretty decent shooting phase. I can wield magic decently, or protect myself pretty well against it. What I think every O&G army should be able to, is rock the melee combat phase. That's my priority, so I will build on that. If I paint and assemble my entire army as it is right now, I think it will severely lack in stopping power. So my next few purchases will be Orcs in various shapes and designs. I found out the Black Orc box is pretty cheap considering what you get in it - I might go for them. I do find them a bit expensive though, points-wise.
More updates and pictures coming up soon, so stay tuned!

Shopping day
Tomorrow's shopping day for me, I'm going out of town on a little trip with my brother and girlfriend. I think I'm going to invest in some new brushes, a clipper, some spray paint and also a Battle For Skull Pass box. I think I might buy myself an Orc Warboss/Big Boss too, the one in which you get both a model on foot and mounted.

Some pictures of where I am now
So this is how far I've come now. These are my Night Goblin spearmen and my wolves for my wolf riders, I've got 19 of my NG's painted so far (including my boss/big boss). The standard bearer is not painted, except for the flesh tones (which is not yet completed). Notice how the boss's skin tone is different from the other Gobbos. That's because I used a final highlight on him, mixing goblin green with yellow (don't remember which, probably sunburst yellow).

Under construction
Hello, and welcome to my blog about my warband of Orcs and Goblins in the Warhammer World.
Don't know what Warhammer is? Check it out at:http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/
I am going to build myself an army of Greenskin, both Orcs and Goblins. I'm aiming at a balanced and playable list, to be used in both tourneys and in friendlies.
This blog is a step for me to gain more motivation to go through with this. I will add pictures and maybe even painting guides (not that I'm a great painter but I get by).
What I have right now is this: Around 40 Night Goblins with spears and command groups, a Night Goblin Big Boss (or just a regular Boss), a few (not sure how many I can build) Wolf Riders, and maybe some Spider Riders (if I can find the sprues). I have the army book, some paint and some brushes. 20 or so Night Goblins are almost done painting, and more are coming.
Pictures won't be up until I have my computer fixed, I think. We'll see =)
That's all for now...
WAAAAAAAAAGH!!!
